Name:
Charlotte Kastling
Occupation:
Journalist
Current location:
London, England
Origin:
Danish (Denmark)
I graduated from the University of Southern Denmark
and became a full born journalist in January 2010.
Up until now I've done a number of various
productions for tv and radio, and written news
stories for both web and paper.
I've done news stories for the Danish local
television channel TV2 Fyn, had my own radio program
and been a valued and hardworking employee at the
local newspaper Frederiksborg Amts Avis.
My passion is people.
I enjoy learning about the human mind and how and
why we interfere the way we do. My hope is that I'll
someday be occupied with telling these stories,
telling people's stories. Hopefully I will get to
tell these stories through documentaries.
I believe that every person has got a story that's
worth spending time reading. The trick is to find
it, and to do that you have to get behind the
intimate bars that many people tend to hold on to.
Of course you have to do this respectfully - and
treat all information with respect.
And that's something I'm good at.
I'm also a passionate
photographer and some of my pictures have
even made the front cover of the newspapers.
Working in PhotoShop is also a passion of mine, and
I do a lot of graphics and picture improvement.
I love
the outdoors. In the Summer I like
hiking, running and SCUBA diving, and I like to go
skiing in the winter. Also, I do a lot of singing
and dancing. I grew up on a farm, so the love for
all animals is a given.
